What is a Truck Crane?

A truck crane uses a purpose-built truck-style chassis with a crane mounted on top of the truck bed. A hydraulic pump generates the lifting power needed to pick and move items both big and small. The truck can be maneuvered into position, including some tight spaces, and the operator controls the crane from an enclosed cab.

Truck cranes are a regular fixture on construction sites and other jobs due to their flexibility. The truck-style chassis offers operators excellent maneuverability and higher lift capacities than other mobile options like boom trucks.
