ALL Family of Companies Opens New Branch In Indianapolis; Expands Branch in Mobile, Alabama
March 9, 2016—With one branch expanding and a 38th branch added to the enterprise, the ALL Family of Companies has increased its ability to serve customers and meet the growing needs of two important geographic areas.

New Branch in Indianapolis
The newest branch of the ALL Family of Companies opened in Indianapolis on February 1. It became the 38th member of the ALL Family in North America and the fourth branch of ALL’s Central Rent-A-Crane division in Indiana, with the other branches located in Elkhart, Fort Wayne, and Hammond.

The new Indianapolis branch will expand Central Rent-A-Crane’s service area, offering more available equipment for the increased rental demand in Central and Southern Indiana. The new location will also allow quicker delivery and quicker response times for job-site crane service to help customers avoid downtime.

“We have been very busy in this part of Indiana so this new full-service yard puts us where our customers need us most,” said Kevin Hileman, newly appointed Indianapolis branch manager. The new Indianapolis branch already is home to cranes from 40-ton to 550-ton capacities, but, explains Hileman, it’s not just the cranes on site; rather, it is more about increasing regional strength. “Our branches form a supply chain — our sister Central yards to the North and ALL’s Jeffers branches in western Ohio. All of these ALL yards share equipment based on demand.”

Central Rent-A-Crane’s general manager, Ed Kocsis, said he sees the expansion as a big advantage for customers. “With the new Indianapolis location, we’re connecting the dots on our branches,” he said. “We’ll be able to to better respond to the uptick in work requests we’ve received around southern Indiana for the last few years.”

“Our work in and around Indianapolis has been growing steadily,” said Michael L. Liptak, president of the ALL Family of Companies. “Opening a new branch in Indianapolis was the next logical step for us. It strengthens the service capabilities of our supply chain throughout the Midwest, including southern Indiana and Kentucky. We are excited about our newest location and Central’s ability to better serve customers with the equipment they need, when they need it.”

Expansion in Mobile
ALL Crane Rental of Alabama (Mobile) has moved to a new, larger location just 16 miles from its previous yard. (pictured)

Extensive work was done on the site, a former warehouse, to make it suitable for ALL, including gutting and rebuilding the inside of the warehouse and modernizing the five large drive-through bays where equipment will be serviced.

“With the size and capabilities offered in our new, high-profile location, it is exciting both for those of us at the company and for the whole area,” said Liptak. “We can now keep a larger inventory of equipment and parts, too.”

The yard has all new LED lighting, and a storage building and welding shop are planned. The grounds can also be used as a lay-down yard to store equipment that will be sent to jobs west of Mobile, including Baton Rouge (Louisiana) or Texas.

The new address is 4531 Hamilton Blvd., Theodore, AL 36582.

“We knew this would be a great fit for our growing needs in Mobile,” said Liptak. “This new location will greatly increase our ability to serve our customers in almost every way. It is an exciting move for everyone.”
