New Jersey Governor Chris Christie warms up the crowd for incumbent Ohio Governor John Kasich. Kasich is joined on stage by Ohio Senator Rob Portman.
CLEVELAND, October 2, 2014 -- The ALL Erection & Crane Rental Corp. acted as the host location for an afternoon political rally that took place on Monday, September 29. Representatives from the reelection campaign for Ohio Governor John Kasich and Lieutenant Governor Mary Taylor approached ALL Crane about hosting the event.
The ALL Family of Companies is celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2014, and is the largest privately held crane rental and sales company in North America, with more that 3,500 pieces of lifting equipment in their fleet. The Northeast Ohio headquarters employs 1,500 nationwide at 37 branches, including approximatley 450 at seven facilities in Ohio.
ALL Crane President Michael Liptak welcomed the crowd, emphasizing that his family-owned company was founded 50 years ago by his parents and his two uncles with only a single crane, and is now North America's leading crane rental and sales organization. "This is not to impress you," said Liptak. "Rather, to impress upon you that the American dream is alive and thriving here in Ohio."
Speakers included Cuyahoga County District 1 Councilman Dave Greenspan, 14th district Congressman Dave Joyce, and candidate Jack Schron, who is running for Cuyahoga County Executive. Schron introduced Lieutenant Governor Mary Taylor, who said Ohio is "coming back," and went on to introduce her running mate, Ohio Governor John Kasich, as well as special guests Ohio Senator Rob Portman and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
"We see ALL as a hardworking American company," said Liptak. "Our employees believe in the strength of our region, and work every day to bolster Ohio's economic future through their diligent hard work and continued dedication to their jobs."
